STRATEGYStrategy To Become A Precinct CommitteemanPhase I The first thing that I did to get started was to go to the blue pages in the phone book and under "Government Offices - County" I found my county "Board of Election. I told them that I wanted to get more involved in my party. They gave me the county chairman number, I called him and his office took my number and had my town chairman call me. When the chairman called me I explained that I was in the party for most of my life and with all the problems I see in the news I want to get involved to support my parties positions on smaller government and restraint on spending, so they invited me to the next meeting.
What I did not tell them is that I intend on voting my conscience and that I will "only" support Constitutional positions and candidates when I At the meetings we need to be careful [without compromising our principals] not to talk too much, just listen allot as we seek their support to become a committeeman. Using this strategy we can use the party to help us get appointed as committeeman and then get their support to get elected as committeeman. Everyone should try and work into the system this way so that we can enter into the party undetected and unopposed until our time comes. Meanwhile do the following: [see walking your precinct strategy on our tools and organizing page]
Go to your County Board of Election to request a precinct map and Voter Registration Records, with phone numbers if available, in an Excel file - [view example on our tools link]. These are either free or will cost a nominal amount. Your County Board of Election may even have many of these capabilities available on their web site, such as a "Walk-around" list of registered voters on a street basis. Depending on the County, Excel based Voter Registration Records provide names, addresses, party affiliation, precinct numbers, phone numbers, and voting information. These can be sorted by precinct and by street for "walk-around" listings. Leading up to elections, the County Board of Elections will even e-mail you daily listings of voters who requested absentee ballots. These voters can then be contacted immediately with non-partisan, educational, principle based information to influence their vote. Use the "Walk-around" Volunteeer Guide which provides detailed information for your door-to-door canvas. Coordinators should use the "Precinct Guide" [found on our tool page] for detailed instructions on how to organize volunteers for your precinct. These are the same tools used by both political parties. Gerrymandering of boundaries has allowed these parties to get lazy and not pursue much "Walk-around" relationship building with voters anymore, pretty much just counting on your loyal vote. When we walk our district [our neighborhood, a few blocks around our home] it is important that we connect with the people about "our Constitutional Crisis" and that is why we got involved and that we need their support to help save our Great Republic. Ask them if you could call them the day before the election to remind them to vote. The committeeman vote is the only vote in land where the candidate can stand outside the voting booth building and greet potential voters, this can be critical if you are running apposed.Read and understand our founding documents, found on the main menu.Get connected plug into local meetup groups, contact your County Coordinator United We Stand Divided We Fall! [Thomas Jefferson] "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." [Edmund Burke] "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." become a committeeman, bottom line they shouldn't expect anything less, nevertheless we need "to be therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" [God, Mat 10:16].
