ABOUT US
This site was founded by John Darash. I have never been politically active other then registering as a republican in my early 20’s and voting in all the major elections since. My reason for becoming a republican was not political it was because of the meaning of the word, unlike the party. After discovering NY Primary Challenge founded by Lenny Roberto in June of 2009 I became involved in the committeeman project. And in the fall of 2009 I met Jim Condit Jr. who was already bringing the message to a national level. On January 26, 2010 I founded “Take Back the Republic with the intention of building a hosting facility for the Liberty Grassroots movement with no door keeper and a primary focus to teach people about the committeeman process, the constitution and the history of progressivism.
This is a National Site providing a framework for state and county groups to plug into for the purpose of providing local and national communications and for the training of concerned Americans as to how to participate in the Precinct System in the major party of their choice in THEIR OWN COUNTY -- with a view of mobilizing Americans to restore the true freedoms enumerated in our Bill of Rights and the US Constitution.
We hope that as many as possible of these concerned Americans run for precinct executive (or precinct captain, or committeeman) in their own neighborhood precinct. Then, when elected, the precinct executives go to the COUNTY meeting of THEIR party in their own county -- and VOTE on who the Party leaders will be for the next 2 years. And then “we” decide who the party candidates will be and not the special interest groups.
We are non-partisan; Both Democrats and Republicans are invited to participate. in the organizing of all 3,141 counties of the US. Please Contact your county or state coordinator for help and orientation. Although Take Back the Republic maintains a strong focus on the precinct committeeman system and our endeavor to find 3141 County Coordinators we also realize the possibility, while achieving our endeavor, of uniting all the liberty groups across America by providing a common platform that is a “true grass roots” controlled vehicle. A vehicle without any National leadership, without a gatekeeper; A vehicle that just simply provides a social networking site where the only voices heard are the people, a real no talk down organization! A place where everything is in the open and where we have 100% sharing of our database which is the lifeline of any “true grassroots organization;
